ESD PVC CLEAR

PVC (polyvinyl chloride) is classified as belonging to the group of amorphous thermoplastics. There is a distinction between PVC-u (unplasticized / without softener) and PVC-p (plasticized / with softener).

Generally, PVC-u, i.e. rigid PVC is used in the production of plastic pipes and profiles as well as plastic sheets. PVC convinces through its high resistance to most acids, plus alcohol, gasoline, lubricants and grease.

ESLON®-DC ESD PVC has a low flammability rate through a relatively high proportion of chlorine. All ESLON®-DC ESD PVC types comply with the international UL 94 V-0 fire protection classification.

Due to the calendaring production process (pressed sheets), ESLON®-DC ESD PVC sheets feature a higher degree of optical transparency as compared to extruded PVC sheets. Eslon-®-DC ESD PVC plates are especially suited for thermal processing (forming and bending).

ESLON®-DC ESD PVC is also available in a Hard Coat version, resistant against organic solvents, such as acetone.
